Hello Airport! Hello Colorado! Hello Ratliff's!

Wednesday we flew out of Houston straight into Denver, Colorado for our assignment at Crooked Creek. We left a day early to see one of my best friends from college, Amber, and her husband, Taylor.

Here is Knox chillin in the airport. He did great...slept most of the time and made my arms go to sleep. I could tell the businessman sitting next to me was sweating bullets the whole time.

Here is Knox with his new friends! Taylor manages this bike shop in Denver called Cycleton. And Amber is the Director for Young Lives in Denver. Will's favorite lyric "Decide what to be and go be it." -Avett Brothers...We are so so proud of them for doing what they love!!

We had so much fun hanging out with them for 24 hours! We laughed a lot, had great conversation and we ate great food! Especially me...I may have had the best pizza I'd ever had and it wasn't even a pizza place. It was a wild mushroom pizza with ricotta, goat cheese, and truffle oil.

Amber is a great photographer and took some quick pics of Knox...He did not want to have it though. It was a little too cold for the clothes I put him in. Sorry Boog. But she did catch a few great ones!!
